Welcome to the Sandfly Cafe Te Anau Across the Lake Swim

A 1.9 kilometre open-water swim across Lake Te Anau.

Swimmers start from Dock Bay at the foot of the Jackson Peaks in Fiordland National Park, and swim to the Te Anau foreshore .

The event is organised by Doug Fox and sponsored by The Sandfly Cafe.

The swim is open to everyone.

Due to ill health and personal factors, the 2017 event will not be taking place
